Professor LI Yan

LI Yan, Professor of molecular pharmacology. The major research of our group is screening, research and development of new anticancer drugs from the natural compounds, investigating their action mechanisms andevaluating in vivo activity with xenograft mouse model. We are also focused our research and drug discovery on certain signaling pathways which are closely related with tumorigenesis,... More Content>>

Major Research Achievements
We have set up a screening platform including cell-based assays, target-based assays and the animal model. With this assays, we detected the preliminary anti- tumor activity of more than 6000 drugs.
We have screened inhibitors of tumorigenesis related signaling pathway from natural compounds, including WNT, NF-kappaB, mTOR pathways etc. A couple of potent molecules are obtained.
  We carr... More Content>>
