In 2007, the information center strengthened the planning, construction and management of websites at different levels, successfully implementing the self-created networking information security supervision system. The networking U disk storing system worked normally and regular check up and service for computer security maintenance were carried out. The center endured the normal running of ARP system and security of the data, and successfully deployed V1.0 the searching system. The information center made huge amounts of videos and multimedia materials for Prof. Wu Zhengyi’s application for the state supreme scientific and technological award. The center as well set a service area of information resource and steady progress have been made for the journal, Acta Botanica Yunnanica. In 2007, the Botanical Society of Yunnan has raised a foundation valuing RMB 180 thousand and the running of the society is towering a correct direction.

　　The aforementioned efforts and endeavors made by the center enormously guarantee the researching personnel using the Internet more conveniently and safely and the center provided more convenient, faster services, saving significant costs for the institute. In summary, the Center well played its role of providing support and service.
