Allium Diversity Blooms Under China-Uzbekistan Cooperation

Allium is a genus of plant that includes onions, garlic, chives, and many other ornamental and edible species. They are widely distributed in the world, but are especially rich in China and Uzbekistan, two countries that share a long history of exchanges along the ancient Silk Road. Now, they are working together on a joint project to conserve and study the diversity of allium plants. CGTN reporter Feng Yilei visited the Global Allium Garden in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. (CGTN)
