September, 5th, 2009, the plaque awarding ceremony of first batch of "Education of Three 'L' (Loving life, Learning to survive and Living happily) " training base for the social practice and the starting ceremony of series activity know as 'The growth sky- Sansheng Education Forum' sponsored by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and co-hosted by Kunming TV were ceremoniously held in Kunming TV performance hall.
Director of Yunnan Provincial Department of Education Luo Chongmin, the director of Kunming TV station Luo Yinghua and the student representative respectively made speeches at the ceremony. In order to make "Education of Three 'L'" implemented into practice, twelve organizations were chosen to be Education Bases providing life skill learning and experiencing for young people. Kunming Botanical Garden of KIB was one of the 12 units that were first awarded. The assistant director of the Botanical Garden Yin Jinggao took part in the ceremony and accepted the awarding.
This awarding indicated that the science education activities of Kunming Botanical Garden will be more rich and interesting.
